Spiced Mascarpone Dip with Apple Slices

Quick fall dessert or snack. Cinnamon, lemon juice, mascarpone, whipped cream and apple slices. Together you get a hint of apple pie.

Fall is around the corner (YES!! Best season of all! Sorry summer lovers.) With fall comes Apple seasons. Apple orchards, apple cider, caramel apples, and apple pies. Now this Spiced Mascarpone Dip with Apple slices. It is super simple to make. It is a light and refreshing dessert or snack. Have it while camping, at home, at the bonfire, you name it. Your guest and family will love it.

Equipment
Apple corer
Mixing bowl with whisk attachment
Tips or Tricks
Chill your mixing bowl and whisk in the fridge or freezer, prior to adding the ingredients. This will keep the cream chilled while whipping it, providing a better structure.

Serving Size: 2 tablespoons

Ingredients
8 apples sliced in 8 slices each
8 ounces Mascarpone cheese – room temp
1 cup heavy whipping cream – chilled
1 teaspoon and 1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ cup powder sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ½ teaspoons cinnamon
¾ teaspoon ground ginger
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Dash kosher salt
Directions
Cut apples, add 1 tablespoon lemon juice, cover, place and fridge until ready to serve.
In mixing bowl with mixing attachment, add cheese, cream, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and dash of salt.
Cover and refrigerate to chill. Can serve right away, however, I prefer it chilled. 5 to 60 minutes.

This dip is delicious on waffles or pancakes
