Fluffy and moist pancakes filled with allspice. Holiday in a pancake. This easy recipe uses every day pantry staples.

Waking up Christmas morning with Allspice pancakes will be memories in the making. These Allspice Pancakes are fluffy and moist and easy to make using pantry staples. I enjoy a good fluffy pancake. I prefer a pancake that is fluffy and moist though. One that doesn’t need a lot of butter or syrup to moisten it. This is the pancake recipe. If you don’t care for allspice, simply omit it and you will have a delicious pancake. A pancake that is yummy on its own.
Easy Pancake Recipe - With Allspice

Equipment
Spatula
Griddle or saucepan
Ice cream scoop - optional
Tips or Tricks
I like to use an ice cream scoop to make pancakes. It creates even pieces and less pour mess.

Prep Time - 5 minutes
Cook time - 15 to 30 minutes

Serving Size: 2 pancakes
Servings: Roughly 13
Ingredients
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup granulated sugar
5 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon allspice
2 eggs
2 cups skim milk
2 ½ teaspoons vanilla
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tablespoon vinegar
3 – 4 tablespoons butter or cooking spray
Directions
Heat griddle or saucepan medium to low heat.
Mix dry ingredients.
Mix wet ingredients.
Combing wet and dry ingredients.
Butter or spray pan or griddle
Spoon batter onto griddle. Once pancake is majority bubbles, flip. Cook a few seconds to finish cooking. Pull off. Repeat. This batter will be slightly runny, allow to set up, before adding next pancake (just a few seconds.)
Notes
Delicious with classic butter and maple syrup.
