Warm Cinnamon Cider Tea. Sweet spicy cinnamon, tart lemon and sweet honey. Anytime of day treat.

My favorite teas are ginger with lemon and honey, and chai tea. Last winter, I decided to take a cinnamon tea bag and add lemon and honey to it. I loved how it tasted like cider. In all honesty, that was not the intention. The cinnamon tea adds a delicious warmth. The honey brings sweetness to the tea. The lemon adds tartness. If you are looking to cut your sweet intakes this holiday season, add this Cider Tea to your recipe book. It will meet your craving for cider and curb your sweet tooth. I enjoy drinking my Cinnamon Cider Tea after dinner, early afternoon, or for a morning treat.

1 tablespoon apple juice (optional)
Directions

Notes
I don’t use apple juice, but if you are looking for apple cider flavor, add juice.
Lemon and honey, adjust to your sweet and tart preference. When I make it, I change it often depending on my mood.
For my cinnamon or ginger teas, I leave the teabags the entire time I am drinking the tea. The flavor increases as I drink it. Do not do this with black, green, or white teas. They will become bitter.
