Simple veggie side dish, that is affordable, bursting with flavor and easy to make. Tender green beans with savory onions and mushrooms.

I love a canned green bean, heated up, a little butter, salt and pepper. With that said though, I do have to admit, having that consistently gets boring. If you feel the same way, try these Green Beans, with Onions and Mushrooms. It uses ingredients you most likely have in your pantry. With an extra few minutes and ingredients, you have a whole new dish. The onions and mushroom create a deep earthy umami flavor. Light, lean, affordable and delicious.
