Roasted asparagus with delicious savory, tangy and sweet maple balsamic glaze.

This Maple Balsamic Asparagus is easy and quick. It will save you the hassle of worrying about what will be part of dinner tonight. All you need is FOUR ingredients (plus salt and pepper of course😊.) Your mouth will be dancing with butterflies after you try this recipe. I’ve always liked asparagus, but this is becoming my favorite way to eat it. Let’s hope my asparagus in my garden thrives this year!!
Maple Balsamic Asparagus

Tips or Tricks
Choose firm and fresh asparagus spears with tightly closed tips and smooth skin.
To store asparagus, wrap the ends in a damp paper towel and place them in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
To prepare, snap off the woody ends by gently bending each spear until it breaks naturally.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 bunch asparagus
2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil
Directions
n a bowl combine maple syrup, balsamic, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Remove hard ends of the asparagus, toss in bowl. Combine.
Heat a saucepan or Dutch oven on medium heat. Add oil.
Toss in asparagus and marinade.
Cook roughly 5 minutes, until fully heated through (careful not to cook too long or asparagus will turn brown.)
Remove from heat – serve immediately.
Notes
The sauce will be liquid, a perfect drizzle on the asparagus.
Can cook as spears, or as 1” pieces.
